  • Materials Requirements Planning
  • Labor Performance
  • Master Schedule

    Tech Tip

What is the difference between the History status and the Closed status in Purchase Order?

When you close a purchase order the order can be reopened again as needed to continue receiving against the order. For this reason when you run the Reset Quantity On-Order process the system will NOT update the quantity on-order. The un-received portion of the purchase order remains included in the quantity on-order for the item/location.

When you change the status to History you are permanently closing the purchase order so that it cannot be reopened. As a result when running the Reset Quantity On-Order the system will remove the on-order quantity for any order that now has a status of History
